If you can guess where the name came from, WOW man you deserve a medal! But anyways, for those who don't, Shipee was meant to be Ship-ee, which is 십이 (OK fine, it's more like Shib-ee or Shib-i, but whatever~ I didn't know until now <_<) and that means 12 in Korean. I wanted to label them Christmas '12 at first, thinking they'll have a Christmas pet each year and going by the assumption that I'll still have interest in this after one year or more, but it sounded very un-name ish. It's like calling your dog... 10! Or something <_<. So yea. :P And Shipee sounded more like a name than Shier (十二 in Chinese, so yeah. And I didn't think of Malay at first... Which would be... dua belas?)
